Nuremberg is the second largest city in Bavaria. A walk through the oldest part of the city charms you with its atmospheric streets with characteristic wooden house facades. We particularly recommend a stroll along the Weissgerbergasse, which is the most historic street in the city. Not far from the Old Town you can see the first chain bridge in Europe - Kettensteg, or a huge, bronze fountain Ehekarussell, which in a nostalgic way presents the various stages of marriage. A real treat for tourists is also a system of underground corridors and chambers. They were created in ancient times and used, among others, to store barrels of beer. Open to tourists are beer cellars, dungeons under the town hall, casemates and tunnels with water and art bunkers, where during the war the most valuable works of art were hidden.
When you take the Sindbad bus to our stop at ZOB, Bahnhofstr./Käte-Strobel-Str., ADCOM Center you get off near the metro, which is a great base for exploring any part of the city. Also noteworthy is the Dürerhaus, a museum created in the home of Renaissance artist Albrecht Dürer. The biggest attraction of the museum is the room where the biggest works of the artist are exhibited, recreated by local painters. Just outside the walls of the Old Town, those who appreciate greenery and relaxing in nature will find the charming and plant-laden Mayor's Garden and the beautiful Kontumazgarten park.
Welcome aboard our buses!
