Caserta is a picturesque town located in the southwestern part of sunny Italy. For many years, because of its numerous tourist attractions, regional folklore or beautiful landscape it attracts masses of tourists, both from Italy itself and other countries. 

From our bus stop, which is located at the train station in Piazza Garibaldi, we suggest a short walk towards the city's main attraction which is the Royal Palace of Caserta, built in the 18th century, designed by the famous architect Ludwig van WIttel. In addition to the beautiful and massive palace (modeled on Versailles), you can admire the English and French gardens, which are varied with many water cascades, fountains and numerous sculptures. Interesting is also the number of palace rooms, which are 1200, making the whole building one of the largest in Europe. After a longer but very fruitful walk it is also worth seeing the Belvedere di San Leucio, which is another building that is a testimony of the great Bourbon times. The plethora of royal apartments, the silk museum, and the magnificent collection of musical instruments will leave everyone in awe and make a visit to this place an extraordinary experience. Another attraction is the Benedictine Basilica of Formis with its well-preserved cycle of Romanesque frescoes, which was erected in the 6th century on the remains of the Roman temple of Diana. Being in Caserta it is also worth strolling through the narrow streets of the medieval village of Casertavecchia. Admittedly, is not located in the city center, although the medieval buildings, beautiful, built yet of stone cathedral and the Romanesque chapel perfectly reflect the style of those times. In addition, numerous, decorated in an atmospheric style cafes and local restaurants are a respite for each tourist, who with an aromatic espresso can relax and feel the atmosphere of the old town.
