Debica is a city located in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, on the Wisloka River. There are many recommended places for rest and recreation in the area. From this picturesque town it is not far to the borders with Ukraine and Slovakia.

This is a city that offers very good conditions for active recreation, as well as extraordinary cultural events that cannot be found anywhere else in Poland. Artists of musical and theatrical stages, academics and athletes come from Debica.
For those who like to spend time actively, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails, during which one can admire the beautiful tourist qualities of the town.
Within the district is the Death Mountain, where the SS-Truppenübungsplatz training ground was located, where a labor camp was established. Initially it was a camp for French prisoners of war. Later, a camp for Polish prisoners of war was established there. Today there is a museum there worth visiting.
The "Slavic Settlement" was also established in Debica. - This is a fortified settlement built of wood, resembling a medieval castle. It is an interesting tourist attraction, a place where reconstructions of Slavic life from the Middle Ages take place on a daily basis. Visitors can get a tangible glimpse of Poland's medieval history, take part in classes in pottery, wickerwork, weaving, or shoot a bow. Thematic events are also quite an attraction - Attack of the Moravians on the Vistula, or Kupala Night.
