Delmenhorst is a town in Lower Saxony, just outside Bremen. The two cities are separated by a distance of just 15km. Delmenhorst is a medium-sized city with a population of about 75,000.

Most recommended is to visit the textile industry museum called " Nordwolle". "Nordwolle" was the dominant wool processing company. It is important to mention the origins of this factory dating back to 1884. The factory had developed into a global textile company by the 1920s. Unfortunately, the crisis in the 1930s slowed down development, the factory itself struggled, and eventually the decision was made to close in 1981. The museum boasts many exhibits, textile machinery still in operation today. It is a major attraction in the city highly rated by visitors.

The bus stop is located on ZOB, Westerstr. from where it is only 650 meters to the said museum. The walk takes less than 10 minutes, the mighty red brick building is visible from a distance.
