Welcome by bus to Dnipro!
Dnepr is undoubtedly a large and significant city on the map of Ukraine. Dnipro is located in the southeastern part of Ukraine. The city has a population of about one million, and is the fourth largest in Ukraine.
Dnipro is one of the main industrial and administrative centers of Ukraine. The city is home to a number of industries, including metallurgical, mining, engineering and chemical. Of particular note is the fact that Dnepr is home to "Yuzhmash"-which is Ukraine's largest rocket and space industry enterprise. The company is a manufacturer of carrier rockets, ballistic missiles, space shuttles or rocket engines. Due to its specific production, Dnipro had the status of a closed city during the Soviet era. In its best years, Yuzhmash employed up to 40,000 workers; today when orders have fallen (mainly from the Russian side) Yuzhmash employs about 7,000 workers. The number of employees, although much lower, continues to be significant.
While in Dnipro, we recommend taking a walk along the banks of the Dnipro River, and you can also visit Monastery Island. Park, interesting beaches, these places are worth seeing after a bus trip.
A highly rated attraction is the Museum of the History of the Jewish People. The large building and the number of attractions inside make the museum highly rated by visitors.
We also recommend going to the Museum of History of Dnipropetrovsk. Inside, in the spacious halls you will find many exhibits documenting the history of the city and the region.
