Herne - Cranger Kirmes.

Herne- is a city in Germany with county rights. The city is located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, on the Rhine-Herne river channel. Herne is in very close proximity to the cities of Gelsenkirchen, Bochum or Recklinghausen. There is even a subway line and a streetcar line that connects the cities of Herne and Bochum. Herne has a population of about 150,000. A large river port operated here until the 1990s.
