The site is a UNESCO heritage site. The route is long and requires reserving several hours for sightseeing, and in addition, between May 1 and October 3, every Wednesday, Sunday and holidays, we can enjoy a water spectacle here during which 750,000 liters of water flow down a 12-kilometer path to a fountain that shoots water 52 meters under its pressure. At the top of the mountain is the statue of Hercules, which towers over the entire city, and in addition, if we have enough strength we can see the panorama of the entire city from under it. In the park we can find plenty of great places, such as the Teufelsbrücke, or the Wilhelmshöhe Palace built by Wilhelm IX. In the very center of the city, you'll find the Stadthalle, a performance hall that impresses with its ancient structure. Every five years Kassel hosts Documenta, the world's most important exhibition of contemporary art lasting 100 days. During the exhibition, installations and sculptures appear in various parts of the city, some of which remain in the city forever. To show the momentum of this event, it is worth mentioning the last edition, whose artistic direction was led by a Pole, Adam Szymczyk, and one of the main installations was a one-to-one scale copy of the Athenian Parthenon, pasted with more than 100,000 books banned worldwide! What's for sure, you can't get bored in this city and you definitely need to visit it.
