Our bus stop, which is located at the train station, on ks. Ruczki street, is in the very center of the city which allows you to reach most attractions on foot. Undoubtedly, being in Kolbuszowa, it is worth seeing the town square with a historic well, dating back to the 1880s, located in its central part. It underwent revitalization in 2012 and is a real showpiece of the city. In the market square you can also see the monument erected in 2009, which is dedicated to the heroes and soldiers who fought for a free and independent homeland. Another attraction is Kolbuszowa's All Saints' Collegiate Church, a parish church dating back to the mid-18th century. Its appearance has changed over the years, and it now has four late Baroque altars with Rococo ornaments and a beautiful painting of Our Lady of the Rosary with Saints Catherine and Dominic. The town also has a synagogue, built in the second half of the 19th century. The building was heavily damaged during the war, but was renovated in 1955-1956, and part of it was used for the Museum of Folk Culture. Also worth seeing is the Art Nouveau palace of the Tyszkiewicz family in Werynia, which was built in 1900-1905. The sizable building is surrounded by a 25-acre manor park and numerous historic buildings such as a chapel, an old dairy, farm buildings and a fornal stable. The city also has a recreational and leisure area-Jordan Park. The park abounds in green areas and playgrounds, which is conducive to family recreation and fun. For those who are keen on hiking, we also recommend a walk along the Route of Wooden Architecture, which leads through the charming Kolbuszowa plateau.
