Kotelva (ukr. Котельва)is a city located in northeastern Ukraine, in the Polev region (Poltava region), on the Kotelva River, which is a tributary of the Psel River. It is a small city that serves as an administrative and service center in its region.

Kotelva is a town that, despite its small size, plays the role of an important center for the surrounding villages. Residents are mainly engaged in agriculture and small-scale industry. The city also has a well-developed educational and cultural network, although compared to larger Ukrainian cities, Kotelva remains a relatively quiet and peaceful place.
