Krywyj Rih a city located in the eastern part of Ukraine, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with a population of more than 200,000 in 2020. Crooked Horn is an important center of mining and metallurgical industries and is the heart of the so-called Crooked River Basin. According to the official website of the city council, the length of the city is 126 kilometers, and it is one of the longest cities in Europe. There is a unique high-speed streetcar that connects distant parts of the city, and is considered by locals to be the local subway. Despite the city's industrial climate, it has recognized the tourist potential of such an image and has opened three attractions in the city that are impossible not to visit. The first is the lowest tourist route in the world, more precisely at a depth of 1556 meters below ground level. The tour is located in an active iron ore mine, and just going down to visit requires measuring blood pressure and changing into specialized clothing including underwear, a helmet and a mask in case of a gas leak. The second attraction is a tour of a working metallurgical factory, where we can see the entire technological process of producing pipes and other components. The last attraction is the Fanatic Brewing Center, which is the largest brewing center in Ukraine. Here you can find everything related to kraft beer making and taste everything that is produced here. A full day tour with a visit to all these attractions costs about 50 zlotys. Crooked Horn is a city where we will get to know Ukraine from a completely different side.
