
Lębork- County town in Poland in Pomeranian Voivodeship. The town lies on the DK nr6, between Wejherowo and Slupsk. It is located in the north of Kashubia, in the proglacial valley of the Reda River, the city is about 80km from Gdansk.
The city, with a population of about 35,000, has a lot to offer. It is certainly worth a walk through the old town, to see the city walls with their towers. A distinctive point in the city is the Church of St. James the Apostle. This building was erected at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries.This Roman Catholic parish church was originally built as a defense church. It was built in Gothic style on a rectangular plan. The church features a Baroque altarpiece, a Rococo pulpit and an ivory tabernacle, among others.
Also worth seeing is the 14th-century Teutonic castle, which has been rebuilt many times over the centuries; today it is the seat of the district court and the district prosecutor's office.
Other attractions include the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Poland. We can see this neo-Gothic building at 6 Copernicus Square, and the structure has been entered in the register of monuments.
