The historic part of Munich can be circumnavigated on foot in a day, without even using navigation - everything is visible as if on the palm of your hand. From the bus stop at Arnulfstr. 12, where our buses stop, you will walk to the center in half an hour. Most noteworthy in this part of the city are the magnificent New Town Hall, built in a neo-Gothic style, the Toy Museum located in the Old Town Hall, the Alte Pinakothek art gallery, the Pinakothek der Moderne contemporary art museum, the Jewish Museum Munich, the Jewish Museum Munich, the oldest here, St. Peter's Church, whose tower is a landmark on the city map and from which you can admire the city skyline. A few steps away is the mighty Freunekirche Cathedral, whose walls can hold up to twenty thousand people. In the northern part of the center sits the Residenz, the grandiose palace of the kings of Bavaria dating back to the 14th century. Beer-related places could not be missed either - at the heart of the city is the three-story beer hall from the 16th century Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, where you can also enjoy a delicious meal. Sports enthusiasts can head to the outskirts of the city to see the Allianz Arena - Bayern Munich's stadium, which resembles a conglomeration of small pillows on the surface - and the multi-purpose Olympic Stadium, where our national soccer team won the gold medal at the 1972 Olympics. - an incredibly sentimental place!
