The Royal Palace in Oslo

Oslo City Hall

Vigeland Park

Norwegian Folk Museum

The Norwegian Folk Museum is one of Europe's largest open-air museums. It is located on the Bygdøy peninsula in Oslo and covers 140,000 m². There you can see more than 150 different buildings, reconstructed streets and numerous exhibits dating mainly from the 17th to 19th centuries from all over Norway. One of the oldest buildings there is a stave church from Gol in the Buskerud region from the early 13th century.

Frammuseet

Frammuseet (Fram for short) is a museum dedicated to the history of Norwegian polar discoveries and expeditions. It is located on the Bygdøy peninsula. The mass of its conical building was specially designed for the most important exhibit, the Norwegian polar ship built in 1892, commissioned by the traveler Fridtjof Nansen, who took part in three major polar expeditions. The second part of the museum houses the Gjøa, the first ship to cross the Northwest Passage in the early 20th century.

Skiing Museum and Holmenkollen Ski Jump

The Museum of Skiing in Oslo takes a look at the history of the sport, as well as the history of the polar expeditions of Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen.
