Praszka - a city located in Opolskie Voivodeship on the Prosna River. It was here during the January Uprising in 1863 that a battle was fought with Russian forces and Cossacks. There is a mass grave in the cemetery, commemorating the 12 soldiers who died in the battle.

The monument, actually an originally preserved locomotive with a passenger car, is a relic of the good times of the narrow-gauge railroad to Wieluń. Unique steam locomotives from 1953, can be admired near the center of Praszka, at 15 Grunwaldzki Square.
