Przemyśl - a district city in the southeastern part of Poland, in Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The city has a population of about 60,000.
The city has the largest number of monuments in the Podkarpackie province, the most important of which include the Kazimierzowski Castle - a Renaissance castle (after reconstruction) with four towers. The castle was built by King Casimir the Great. An interesting fact is that within the castle's walls is the oldest amateur theater in Poland. Another attraction worth seeing is the Lubomirski Palace - a palace and farm complex built in the 19th century.
Another important point on the city's map is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. John the Baptist - you can find this church in Przemysl on Cathedral Square. Another sacred attraction of the city is the Franciscan Church and Monastery located on Franciszkańska Street.
Take a stroll through the town square and see the Clock Tower, built in the 18th century. From the terrace of the tower you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
The San River - considered one of the prettiest in Poland - flows through the city center. Amateurs of water tourism will also find attractions for themselves.
