Truskavets is a small city of about 30 thousand inhabitants in Ukraine. This city is located in the Lviv district. Truskavets is close to Lviv, as well as the Polish-Ukrainian border. From both Lviv and the border the distance is less than 100km.

Truskavets- is a well-known and respected health resort. It is estimated that the healing properties of the springs were already known in the 18th century, when the resort was frequented by visitors from Warsaw and Lviv, among others.

Later, in the interwar period, almost 300 different accommodation facilities were built in Truskavets, they were hotels, boarding houses, lodgings. During that period, Jozef Pilsudski, Wincenty Witos and Julian Tuwim, among others, came here. Famous artists such as Eugeniusz Bodo and Adolf Dymsza were also guests of the resort.

While in the resort, it is worth seeing the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The building is characterized by its neo-Gothic style on the outside and neo-Baroque style on the inside.
