There is now a subzone of the special economic zone there, managed by the Krakow Technology Park.
Due to its location at the foot of the Beskid Maly mountains and a short distance from Krakow, Bielsko-Biala, Wadowice or Oswiecim, it is a very attractive tourist destination. The town itself is very atmospheric and also has many interesting attractions to offer. It is worth starting your sightseeing with the centrally located market square with the nearby city park and seeing the classicist Bobrowski Palace.
