Rosenheim is a charming Bavarian town with a population of 60,000. Its history dates back to 1232, but there was already a Roman settlement in the area more than a thousand years earlier. Rosenheim is famous as a commercial center, but it is also a great base for nearby attractions, nearby Lake Chiemsee and the mountains.
