BOLZANO
Bolzano is located in northern Italy on the border with Austria in the Trentino-Alto Adige region on the Isarco (Eisack) River. The city is a major tourist and winter sports center, and its biggest attraction is the famous Ötzi man, a more than 5,000-year-old man preserved in ice that was found near Bolzano.

Bolzano's annual Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition is also an important attraction.
Getting to Bolzano
Bolzano is best reached by car or long-distance bus. It is not possible to get to this city by direct flight from Poland. However, planes to Bolzano fly from major Italian cities. Biecz, due to its unusual history and impressive buildings, is sometimes called Little Cracow. No wonder tourists eagerly and in large numbers visit this town located on the border of Beskid Niski and Ciężkowice Foothills. The pearl of eastern Małopolska has really a lot to offer! So how to get here? Biecz is located on DK 28, between Jaslo and Gorlice. Biecz is less than 50 km from Tarnów, and less than 55 km from Nowy Sącz. It takes about 60 km to get to the A4 highway, which connects east and west Poland. Biecz can also be reached by train or bus.
