Shpola (ukr. Шпола)- a city located in Ukraine, in the Cherkasy region, in the central part of the country. It is one of the smaller towns, serving as a local administrative and commercial center.

Shpola has a long history, dating back to the Middle Ages, although it was not granted city rights until the 19th century. In the past, the town was associated with agriculture and handicrafts, but in the 20th century it also developed in an industrial direction.

Modern Shpola is a place where elements of Ukrainian tradition and culture are preserved, as well as numerous architectural monuments related to the region's history.
