In Elk you will find two city beaches, both of which are sandy, although in truth in high season it will probably be difficult to find even a meter of free space anyway. There is also a sizable park, several children's playgrounds and a bunch of playrooms. Elk also has an interesting museum, offering, among other things, a ride on a narrow-gauge train.
How to get to and from Elk - buses and timetables
To get from or to Elk, for example, you can use a bus. Buses Sindbad leave from Elk's PKS station, which is located right next to the railroad station. Therefore, if you happen to be going to Elk by train, but then want to change to another means of transport, the change itself will not take you more than a few minutes.
In our opinion, however, it is worth getting to Elk by bus, as trains in high season can be overloaded with people heading to the Baltic cities.
The PKS station in Elk, despite the fact that Google shows that it no longer exists, still serves our buses. It may not currently be as impressive as Elk's train station, but nevertheless our buses go to and from Elk from station one.

Bonn is a city of more than 300,000 people in western Germany located on the Rhine River in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Its history dates back 2,000 years, and it is associated around the world primarily as the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven. Until recently, Bonn served as the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition to its famous university, the city boasts beautiful architecture, many interesting museums and a more intimate atmosphere than in nearby Cologne.
While there, be sure to visit the 11th-century Romanesque cathedral dedicated to Saints Cassius, Florentius and Martin, where quite a few monuments and works of art, including Baroque altarpieces, have been preserved. The centerpiece of the city is the market square with the rococo old town hall, near which is Bonn's most visited museum dedicated to Beethoven, located in his former home.
Getting there - bus to Bonn
The city is well connected to the rest of Germany and to neighboring countries. Close to Bonn is Germany's sixth-largest airport, Cologne/Bonn, which serves numerous flights. This is the fastest option for getting to this city. By contrast, it takes about 11 hours to drive from Warsaw to Bonn. Germany's highways are free. So it's good, cheaper and more environmentally friendly to take a bus to Bonn for the trip. The stop where buses going to this city stop is located at the corner of Joseph-Beuys Allee with Baunscheidstrasse, near the Museum of Modern Art.
