Freiburg, or Freiburg in Polish, is a city in southwestern Germany near the border with France and Switzerland. It is located in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Its full name is Freiburg im Breisgau - which has to do with its location in the historic Bryzgau region. It is inhabited by more than 230,000 residents.
