HALMSTAD
Halmstad is a coastal city in southwestern Sweden and the administrative center of picturesque Halland County. It lies at the mouth of the Nissan River into the Baltic Sea on the Kattegat Strait. Halmstad has a population of about 70,000.
The city is considered the Swedish capital of golf. There are 11 different golf courses in and around its territory, including the only one accessible to people with disabilities. From Halmstad comes Per Gessle, the male part of the band Roxette.
While in Halmstad, in addition to seeing the market square, the old town and the 17th century castle, it is worth visiting at least one of the city's art museums with its extensive collections of modern paintings. Halmstad boasts a multitude of parks and green spaces, and there are many charming sandy beaches near the city. The beach in the resort town of Tylösand is considered the most beautiful.

Halmstad can be reached by bus from Poland - the main bus station is located in the southeastern part of the city, by the Hallarna shopping center. The train station, on the other hand, is located near the very center. Halmstad and its surroundings are worth exploring by bicycle - there are about 300 kilometers of bicycle paths. ELK
In Elk you will find two city beaches, both of which are sandy, although in truth in high season it will probably be difficult to find even a meter of free space anyway. There is also a sizable park, several children's playgrounds and a bunch of playrooms. Elk also has an interesting museum, offering, among other things, a ride on a narrow-gauge train.
How to get to and from Elk - buses and timetables
To get from or to Elk, for example, you can use a bus. Buses Sindbad leave from Elk's PKS station, which is located right next to the railroad station. Therefore, if you happen to be going to Elk by train, but then want to change to another means of transport, the change itself will not take you more than a few minutes.
In our opinion, however, it is worth getting to Elk by bus, as trains in high season can be overloaded with people heading to the Baltic cities.
The PKS station in Elk, despite the fact that Google shows that it no longer exists, still serves our buses. It may not currently be as impressive as Elk's train station, but nevertheless our buses go to and from Elk from station one.
