BOLZANO
Bolzano is located in northern Italy on the border with Austria in the Trentino-Alto Adige region on the Isarco (Eisack) River. Throughout its history, the city has alternated between Austrian, German and Italian rule. Since 1969, Bolzano and the entire region have been autonomous.
