When visiting Raciborz, don't miss seeing the Piast Castle, with its vast courtyard and beautiful Gothic castle chapel comparable to Paris' Sainte-Chapelle. To this day, fragments of medieval defensive walls and a former prison tower dating back to the 16th century have been preserved in the city. Worth seeing is the oldest temple in Racibórz - the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located near the market square and still remembering the 13th century.
