Eindhoven is a city located in the south of the Netherlands on the Dommel River. It is famous as a center of the electronics industry - such global giants as Philips and DAF have their headquarters and production facilities there.
The most valuable monument in the city is the neo-Gothic St. Catherine's Catholic Church from 1867 with twin towers clearly towering over the area. Eindhoven is home to museums - you can find there, among others, museums related to the strongly rooted industry there.
