BEREZNE

Berezne (ukr. Березне) is a city located in the northwestern part of Ukraine, in the Rivne region, near the border with Belarus. It is a relatively small city that serves as the administrative and cultural center of its region.

The history of Berezne dates back to the Middle Ages, with the first records of the settlement dating back to the 14th century. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the city developed through agriculture and trade, becoming one of the most important centers in the area.
