BOCHNIA
Bochnia is the oldest city in Lesser Poland, located on the Raba River, on the border of the Sandomierska Basin and the Carpathian Foothills. It is known as the 'City of Salt' by the presence of one of the oldest salt mines in the world. The town owes its foundation to the discovery of rock salt in 1248.
