Jawor is a city in Poland, Lower Silesia Province, Jawor County, historically in Lower Silesia. From 1975 to 1998 the city was administratively part of Legnica Province. Jawor is located on the Nysa Szalona, Jawornik and Paszówka rivers, in the central part of Lower Silesia, on the Jawor Plain, part of the Chojnowska Plain.
