Nisko is a small town in Podkarpackie Voivodeship, situated by the San River and Sandomierska Forest, not far from Stalowa Wola, Sandomierz and Janow Lubelski. Nisko and its surroundings is a very attractive area for archaeologists, so far about 150 sites with traces of prehistoric cultures have been identified here.
