Because of its location, it is referred to as the Polish capital of sailing and shanties. Gizycko's best-known attractions are the 19th-century Prussian Boyen fortress and the rotating bridge on the Luczanski Canal. The city also has a neo-Gothic water tower, on top of which an observation deck with a café has been located.
