Nisko is a small town in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, located on the San River and Sandomierska Forest, not far from Stalowa Wola, Sandomierz and Janow Lubelski.
Nisko and its surroundings are a very attractive area for archaeologists, so far about 150 sites with traces of prehistoric cultures have been recognized here.
