The best vantage point overlooking the area is the repeatedly rebuilt tall city hall tower. From its two panoramic terraces (one open, the other closed) located almost 40 meters high, in good weather you can admire the peaks of the Walbrzyskie Mountains or the top of Ślęza. The monumental Gothic Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Wenceslaus also boasts a high tower.
In the city you will find quite a lot of green areas and many interesting murals - most of them are located near the railroad and bus stations. The author of most of them is Swidnica-based artist Robert Kukla.
Getting there - train and bus to Swidnica
The city is well connected with the rest of the country and neighboring countries. Its location between the two largest cities of the province - Wroclaw and Walbrzych - provides Świdnica with a large number of train and bus connections. Świdnica's bus station is located right next to the train station, making both a well-organized Świdnica Transfer Center. From here it takes less than a 15-minute walk to get to the center of Swidnica.

BOLZANO
Bolzano is located in northern Italy on the border with Austria in the Trentino-Alto Adige region on the Isarco (Eisack) River. Throughout its history, the city has alternated between Austrian, German and Italian rule. Since 1969, Bolzano and the entire region have been autonomous. The city is a major tourist and winter sports center, and its biggest attraction is the famous Ötzi man, a more than 5,000-year-old man preserved in ice that was found near Bolzano.
The city is very charming and offers many interesting attractions. The most popular is, of course, provided by the Archaeological Museum of South Tyrol, where the mummy of the ice man, Ötzi, has been made available for viewing. In addition, take a stroll through the old town, see the medieval frescoes in the monumental Cathedral of the Assumption, visit the nearby Roncolo Castle (Runkelstein), or take the oldest cable car to the Polbis peaks, from where you can beautifully see the entire area. Bolzano is best reached by car or long-distance bus. It is not possible to get to this city by direct flight from Poland. However, planes to Bolzano fly from major Italian cities.
