Two highlights of the coach change are: Port Opole Port Swiecko

We always strive to make your trip safe and pleasant. And although it sometimes happens that a change of coach is necessary during the journey, we do everything to ensure it takes place smoothly and in comfortable conditions. If a coach change is planned for your trip, don’t worry—the destination coach is required to wait for all passengers arriving at the transfer center, and a seat will be waiting for you on the destination coach. If you have any doubts, ask the coach crew or contact our Helpline at +48 77 443 44 44.

Sindbad operates connections between 220 cities in Poland and more than 420 cities in Europe. Therefore, we have launched 2 coach change centers in Poland so that such a large transport offer can be realized. Passengers can thus make international connections in a simple and flexible way.

At the start of the journey, a boarding pass is issued with information about:

  • the number of the initial coach,
  • the destination,
  • the coach change number and time,
  • the number of the destination coach and the bay,
  • the ticket or reservation number,
  • the number of checked bags.

A baggage tag is attached to checked baggage with the details and the number of the destination bay.

Coaches are marked with an individual number visible at the front, at the rear, and above the entrance. After checking in baggage, the staff assigns a seat on the destination coach.

Port Opole

Port Opole is Sindbad's international bus station and main coordination point in southern Poland. Its opening in 2018 helped to streamline the process of changing coaches, and modern infrastructure ensures the convenience of travelers.

The station square is nearly 2 hectares in size, and in the central part there is a covered shelter with stalls arranged for 36 coaches:

  • right side - from A1 to U1
  • left side - from A2 to U2

With free luggage carts, it is easy to transport luggage between coaches. If you have difficulty finding your stand, you can be assisted by station staff wearing reflective vests.

In a central location, between stands A1 and A2, there is a two-sided electronic board with the scheduled departure time of the coaches.

The following are available at the Opole port:

  • Information desk, where you will get all the necessary information,
  • Waiting room located in the station building,
  • Parking for about 80 cars,
  • Toilets (charge 2 PLN or 0.50 EUR, payment by card or coins),
  • Snack vending machines,
  • Food outlet with sandwiches, baked goods, drinks, coffee and tea.

Port Swiecko

Port Świecko is the main coordination point for journeys from northern and central Poland to Western European countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom.

Port Świecko has a covered, illuminated shelter with designated bays:

  • numbers 1–9
  • on the opposite side numbers 10–17

Within the Świecko port area there are:

  • a grocery store (Carrefour Express),
  • a currency exchange office,
  • toilets (fee 2 zł or 0.50 EUR, payment by card or coins),
  • food outlets serving hot meals, sandwiches, drinks, coffee and tea.

Whether you are a passenger from the north or the south, travelling from Gdańsk or Kraków, we ensure that any coach change at the aforementioned centres is hassle-free. You will receive information from the crew about the number of the coach you should go to, and you will have time to rest for a moment before continuing your journey or to do some shopping. All coaches are marked according to the same scheme, and if you have any questions, we will always assist you.
